Genius Tip #490

Talent might be only a very small part of genius

Ten days ago my life partner Susanna heard an interview on NPR and texted me immediately "We HAVE to watch this documentary as soon as it comes out!" We did and I completely understood her passion:

Leaving everything behind and doing something that never has been done before - this combination has always been very close to my heart. Tracie Edwards did exactly that when she put together an all-female crew for the longest and hardest sailing race around the world.

Her brilliance and determination definitely achieves a genius level when she confronts unsurmountable obstacles and assembles an extremely cohesive team of women that learn to act as a 'higher power' with each other.

Enjoy the timeless lessons about human brilliance and the defeat of male and female Ego that can sabotage progress and innovation every day.
