Sean was diagnosed with severe ADD at age 11. His parents accepted the results of the evaluation which included a prescription of Adderall and Wellbutrin. After a few short weeks Sean found that this drugs made him feel like a zombie. On top of that he developed a constant headache as a response to the smell and taste of Wellbutrin.
So, he let each pill slide into his pocket and discarded them at some point during the day. After 4 years, his father was suspicious and asked him directly about the medication. Sean responded: “I pocketed the pills every single day because I felt I had to figure this out on my own.”
He challenged himself to find answers to existential questions like “I don’t think I was born at the right time or in the right place”. Later on, he became a therapist to find more answers for his own deep feelings. He became a successful entrepreneur and currently manages 5 companies.
