How the Power of Play can HEAL

Interactive play can open emotional self-healing power

Participants prepared a special assignment for the Parent Playtime online session today: To explore their own play history as a child.

Andrea* described several situations in her early childhood when she did not feel safe to play. Later on she was dedicated to build forts and castles with other kids. Together they found the building materials and agreed on plans to build it.

Could it be that Andrea* healed her hurt feelings by building a physical manifestation of safety and security?

That was exactly the insights she shared with us at the end of today's session: "I needed more places I can trust."

Interactive play can open this emotional self-healing power and release a lot of hidden emotional stress.
