The Pandemic Of Sitting Too Much

Otto Siegel • December 22, 2021

New Title

A woman is sitting in a yellow chair with her legs crossed.

Yes, we all know it: Most of us are sitting WAY too much and we can find hundred reasons to justify it. We can even engage exercise physiology to measure stiffness in hip muscles, hamstrings and quads.

Or ignore the habit to load more guilt feelings on top and beat ourselves up? There MUST be a different way!

Today I suggest a completely different approach with more joy and intelligence in 2-3 simple steps:

  • Change your mindset about your body and see it as a possibility for 5 minutes of playful moves several times a day.
  • BodyPlay: Create stretches and spontaneous moves that loosen up your hands, arms, hips and legs = your creativity in action!
  • Enjoy the genius exercise below for your inspiration and FEEL how it works.
